Salam to everyone....

I've some information that want to share with all my frienz and all new mom's...this all about 3 mth-9mth old's development...

3 MONTH OLD

Better arm, leg and hand coordination

ur baby can now wave her arms and kick her legs. As her hip and knee joints become more flexible, her kicks are getting stronger. And if u hold her up with her feet on the floor she should push down on her legs now. She can bring both hands together and open her fingers, though she'll probably use a closed fist to bat at dangling objects. (Of course, swatting at a toy or other object is developmental progress in itself!) Encourage her hand development by holding out a toy to see if she'll grasp it.just try it...last time i always did wif my baby (zafran n zayyad)i also massage them every morning and b4 they get sleep at nite....when we massage them that can eratkan lagi our relation baby n mom....and also can kuatkan otot2 hands and legs....ur baby will like when we do that....:)

Clear recognition of mum and dad

ur baby will have formed an attachment 2 u and be familiar with ur face. Most likely she will still smile at strangers, especially when they look her straight in the eye and coo or talk to her. But she's beginning to sort out who's who in her life and definitely prefers some people to others.

The parietal lobe, the part of the brain that governs hand-eye coordination and allows a person to recognise objects, is developing rapidly now. And the temporal lobe, which assists with hearing, language and smell, has also become more receptive and active. So when ur baby hears ur voice now, she may look directly at u and start gurgling or trying to talk back. That time we will feel ooohhh...so proud coz of ur baby recognize u...

Beginning to interact with others

ur child is set on "receive," drawing conclusions about the world around her.She may respond to her face in the mirror by smiling (babies love looking at themselves), and she may stop sucking her thumb or bottle to listen to ur voice. By cooing or making noises at her, and by describing even the most mundane household chore, u're not only connecting with her but also encouraging her to express herself. Even with others, ur baby is becoming more animated and engaging -- flashing smiles, oohing and cooing. The fun has really begun.
And one more thing rite now u also can start reading to her...don't underestimated them.....walaupun they can't understand but they simpan in their brain....when they grow up...they will ingat that diorang pernah tengok or baca or lihat that thing.....There are plenty of good books to read to ur baby at book shop... Choose board books with large, bright pictures and simple text -- or even wordless books with pictures for u to narrate.

4 MONTH OLD

A new talent for rolling over

When placed on his stomach, ur baby will lift his head and shoulders high, using his arms for support. This mini push-up helps him strengthen his muscles and get a better view of what's going on. He may even amaze u (and himself!) by rolling over(bergolek2) from his back to his front, or vice versa.u can encourage this through play: wiggle a toy next to the side he customarily rolls to in case he's interested enough to try again. Applaud his efforts and smile; he may need ur reassurance since new actions can be frightening.

Reaching out and mouthing objects

ur baby is now able to reach out and grab an object, even though he often misses his mark on the first try. Once he wraps his hands around something, he'll study it for a moment and then try to put it in his mouth. u may also notice a lot more dribbling now. Some babies can start teething as early as four months, but the first tooth usually doesn't surface until five to six month....but i realize that last time my 1st son was zafran..teething about 5 month....i'm quite surprise....then i ask my mom....and my mom said that's normal....every children have tahap perkembangan yang berlainan...then i've more understand when zayyad,my 2nd child..after 8 month baru teething....rite now he have 8 batang gigi...always nak gigit me and his abang....hahahaha...;)

Able to play alone now

By now, ur baby can play and will fun with his hands and feet for a few minutes at a time. A miracle! Suddenly u realise it's strangely quiet in the bedroom so u look in, only to discover that ur baby, who so far has needed ur attention for most of every waking moment, is amusing himself. Now maybe u can start reading the paper again....hahahaha.....;)

Is ur baby developing normally?

Remember, each baby is unique and meets social milestones at his own pace. These are simply guidelines to what ur baby has the potential to accomplish -- if not right now, then shortly.

I think that's all for right now...i will continue wif 5 month next time......see u then...cau...
